Des (1-3) IGF-1 from Nanox is a truncated version of the human IGF of the first type with the Gly-Pro-Glu tripeptide missing at the N-end. This protein is probably the result of posttranslational cleavage of IGF-1. What is so good about this particular peptide? In the level of anabolic effect, which is many times higher than that of natural IGF-1, however, the duration of its activity is small, so it is administered immediately before training.
Des (1-3) IGF-I is usually about 10 times more effective (especially with regard to the anabolic effect) than conventional IGF-1 in stimulating hypertrophy and proliferation of cultured cells, which is a consequence of significantly reduced binding of the modified IGF molecule to transport proteins, which in turn is caused by the absence of glutamate in position 3. Des(1-3) IGF-1 is not an anabolic steroid, but is a protein hormone (also known as a polypeptide or simply a peptide hormone), which is extremely similar in structure to hormone-insulin - another peptide/protein hormone. IGF-1 is endogenously, naturally produced and synthesized by the human body mainly in the liver. The production of IGF-1 by the liver is stimulated and initiated by human growth hormone (HGH). In fact, STH is a prohormone for IGF-1, and most of the anabolic effects of STH are actually the result of subsequent IGF-1 production.
Although IGF-1 is very similar to insulin (hence the name Insulin-like Growth Factor 1), its role is somewhat different. IGF-1, like insulin, is a hormone that promotes the movement of nutrients (such as amino acids, as well as glucose) into muscle cells. The cells themselves can then use these nutrients to synthesize new muscle tissue. IGF-1 is also anabolic in bone, connective and intestinal tissues. This function is different from insulin, which moves nutrients not only to muscle tissue, but also to many other tissues throughout the body. In other words, insulin is not as selective as IGF-1.
In addition, IGF-1 plays very unique roles in the human body, and its role changes at all stages of human development. For example, it is responsible for various important factors related to growth in childhood, and also exhibits anabolic effects in adults. From a medical point of view, its use primarily relates to the treatment of dwarfism, but since IGF-1 is a recent discovery in medicine, its experimental use for the treatment of other conditions continues to expand.
Its medical application and clinical research extend to pathologies such as dwarfism, aging, neuropathy and even stroke.
Des (1-3) IGF-1 has a half-life of about half an hour, so it is advisable to consume it shortly before physical activity in the target muscle groups. As a rule, the working dosage is 50-150 mcg 1 time before training, the duration of administration is about 4 weeks.
Des (1-3) IGF-1 at the recommended dose before training and MGF PEG 200-400 mcg after training in target muscles, ACE-031 100 mcg 1 time per day.
Pain and redness at the injection site, possible drop in blood sugar (hypoglycemia), tunnel syndrome (very rare, due to the short life of the drug), headaches are possible in 2% of cases.
Before taking it, it is important to be sure that there are no oncological diseases, since this peptide can accelerate the development of existing tumors.
